Prerequisites

Prerequisites include:
  • The DOORS Fixpack 9.7.2.12 and later versions contain dependency of 64-bit Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Microsoft Visual Studio 2022, which is Visual C++ v14 Redistributable, for DOORS Server and DOORS Client. Visual Studio 2022 redistributable libraries are included in the installation package and no separate installation is required.
  • The DOORS 9.7.2.12 client application requires the Microsoft® WebView2 Runtime to use the EdgeView related controls and DXL perms. The Microsoft® WebView2 Runtime is already a part of the Windows 11 operating system and the Windows 10 operating system with the latest service pack. If required, you can download the Microsoft® WebView2 Runtime from the Microsoft website (The Evergreen Standalone Installer x64 download package is recommended).
  • Upgrading to 9.7.2.12, you must upgrade the IBM Common Licensing to version 9.
  • Review the Version compatibility for IBM® Engineering Requirements Management DOORS® - Web Access, interoperation server, IBM® Engineering Requirements Management DOORS® database server and client document prior to installation to ensure the client and server compatibility requirements are met in your environment.
