IBM Maximo Application Suite with IBM Maximo Asset Management Dual Support

NOTE: Dual Support ends April 30, 2027

IBM Maximo Asset Management (EAM) clients can upgrade or trade-up their current Asset Management license to an IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) license. When such an upgrade or trade-up is purchased, Client may use EAM and MAS License Program in any deployment combination up to the total number of entitlements purchased for MAS until such a time that dual support for EAM 7.6.1.x is no longer offered. Once Client has completed their technical migration to MAS Manage, they are required to discontinue their use of EAM.

Key Date:

· Effective 30 April 2027, dual support under the MAS license for EAM 7.6.1.x is no longer available.

Licensing Considerations:

Perpetual Trade-Up

• Customers must complete migrations to MAS by April 30, 2027

• After this date, EAM usage rights expire and continued use would be out of compliance

   

Subscription Upgrade

• Customers remain in compliance with subscription terms after April 30, 2027

• However, EAM 7.6.1.x will no longer be supported
