This release contains all fixes in previous releases up to the CSM 6.3.16 release.
Notable Issues fixed in the 6.3.17.2 release are the following:
| Abstract | Description |
| Defect 90212 | Affected Domain: Customers running 6.3.17.0 or higher and viewing the Copy Services Manager GUI through a remote desktop interface. Description: When viewing the Copy Services Manager GUI through a browser on a remote desktop, customers saw various issues including tables not loading until the browser was resized, or issues with displaying the dynamic pictures on sessions. Changes related to the new Health Overview panel delivered in 6.3.17.0, caused timing issues due to the panel needing more data to be loaded from the server. These timing issues do not affect local browsers accessing the Copy Services Manager GUI, but caused remote browsing sessions to experience the odd behavior. Mitigation: The majority of the issues can be resolved by resizing the browser window thus forcing a refresh. Upgrade to 6.3.17.2 for the fix that resolves rendering issues on remote desktop sessions. |
| Defect 90217 | Affected Domain: Customers with large Volume Groups, creating thin clones from Snapshots on IBM FlashSystems with Copy Services Manager. Description: When attempting to create a thin clone from the Copy Services Manager server, really large volume groups were taking longer than the timeout time in the call, resulting in potentially seeing two thin clones getting created instead of one. Mitigation: The 6.3.17.2 release increases the timeout for calls allowing actions against large Volume Groups to complete before timing out. |
| Defect 90154 | Affected Domain: Customers running 6.3.17.0 or higher and attempting to sort the detailed Pairs table by progress. Description: When attempting to sort the new Pairs table in 6.3.17.0 by progress, the progress column was sorting by the String value and not the numerical value causing pairs to not be sorted correctly. Mitigation: The 6.3.17.2 release fixes the sort feature on the new Pairs table so that it now sorts correctly by numerical value. |

Upgrades
This refresh pack is a full version of IBM Copy Services Manager. The refresh pack media does not include the enablement files. If installing without the enablement files, the install will be done with an Evaluation license agreement and the enablement files will need to be applied later for full functionality of the product.
