Error description
The HALOAD job is canceled by the health monitor when no load activity is detected within the configured timeout period. Although the job encounters a load timeout condition due to no load activity detected and ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES is canceled, the job incorrectly completes with a return code RC=4 instead of the expected RC=8. When this issue occurs, the job issues messages indicating inactivity timeout, cancellation of the ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES stored procedure, abnormal termination, and rollback of accelerator table changes. Query acceleration is also disabled for the affected accelerator tables. However, despite these error conditions, the job ends with RC=4 rather than signaling failure with RC=8. Job generates the following messages and ends with RC=4: HLOU5931I No load activity detected. Timeout expired seconds. Timeout remaining 0 seconds HLOU5935E ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES on accelerator canceled by ......... Reason code 3 HLOU5738I ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES stored procedure ended on , RC=0007 HLOU5720I DSNT408I SQLCODE = -430, ERROR: PROCEDURE SYSPROC.ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES (SPECIFIC HLOU5720I NAME SYSPROC.ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES) HAS ABNORMALLY TERMINATED HLOU5720I DSNT418I SQLSTATE = 38503 SQLSTATE RETURN CODE HLOU5929E ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES was terminated due error or inactivity.
