What are the difference in design between Planning Analytics Workspace Administration Version 11 Threads tab and the Planning Analytics Workspace Administration Version 12 Activity tab?

In TM1 Version 11 each thread corresponds to a persistent unique connection to the TM1 server.

The tab is titled “Threads”, and it displays information of each connection and running thread.

In TM1 Version 12, to allow user requests to be served by multiple replicas, a thread lasts only for the duration of a request and it is exposed in the Planning Analytics Workspace Administration tab “Activity” It displays only requests currently in progress (jobs).

Information about jobs is also available via TM1 REST API (GET {{serviceRoot}}/Jobs), 

Information about sessions is available via TM1 REST API (GET {{serviceRoot}}/Sessions) but is not exposed in Planning Analytics Workspace Version 12
