Abstract

Potential loss of data can occur during a downstream port failure on an NVMe path.

Description

The device adapters can lose access to the drives on an array, which exposes a rare and complex recovery path, that can lead to a loss of data.
This problem will be detected by the DS8A00 system and will trigger a Hyperswap, if it occurs on a Primary copy in a Hyperswap protected environment.
This issue is fixed in R10.1 SP1.1 - 10.11.34.0.
