Problem
During Data Virtualization Manager (DVM) server startup, the following message is displayed in the server joblog:
xVy0038S LOAD OF DFHXCIS FAILED, RC=X'00000806'. REASON=X'00000004', DETECTED AT VOLDMDSG+X'000001BC'Symptom
The CICS interface for Data Virtualization Manager is not available and does not function.
Cause
The IBM CICS load library hlq.SDFHEXCI is not included in the DVM //STEPLIB concatenation.
Resolving The Problem
Update the DVM server JCL to include the IBM CICS load library hlq.SDFHEXCI in the //STEPLIB concatenation and restart the DVM server after applying the change.
