FLASH: Fusion UI Hardware Diagram Component Mismatch

Flash Summary:

An issue affecting Lenovo Gen1 and Gen2 nodes causes the PSU positions to be displayed incorrectly in the node details hardware diagram.

Details:

An issue has been identified in Fusion versions 2.9 through 2.12 that affects customers using Lenovo Gen1 and Gen2 nodes. The hardware diagram displayed on the node details page incorrectly shows the physical positions of the power supply units (PSUs) on the rear of the node.

The hardware diagram renders PSU 1 on the left side, when in fact PSU 1 is physically located on the right side of the node.

This mismatch between the on-screen representation and the actual hardware layout may lead to confusion during maintenance or troubleshooting activities.

Although the issue was first reported in Fusion version 2.10, analysis indicates that it has existed since the hardware diagrams were reintroduced in Fusion 2.9.

Affected Systems:

Fusion 2.9
Fusion 2.10
Fusion 2.11
Fusion 2.12

Workarounds and Mitigations

This issue will be resolved in the Fusion 2.13.0 release
