Abstract
This session highlights how GDPS Stand Alone LCP Manager modernizes cyber resiliency operations for IBM Z clients, lowers adoption barriers, and delivers robust automation and safeguarded recovery capabilities to environments that previously lacked an integrated cyber vault solution.
GDPS Stand Alone LCP Manager is a new deployment option that brings IBM Z Cyber Vault capabilities to clients who are not using GDPS for high availability or disaster recovery. Designed for organizations currently using IBM Copy Services Manager (CSM), it provides a streamlined path to extend existing environments with IBM Z Cyber Vault functionality—without altering currently deployed HA/DR solutions. With Stand Alone LCP Manager, clients can incorporate key IBM Z Cyber Vault features, including Safeguarded Copy (SGC) management, automated IPL, validation, and surgical recovery.
