PH70803: QMF FOR TSO/CICS NLF USERS MAY EXPERIENCE MESSAGE DSQ90019 UPON STARTUP. 26/04/06 PTF PECHANGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• QMF for TSO/CICS NLF users who have installed the PTF UO04820
  for base English APAR PH67276 without installing the applicable
  NLF APAR for PH67530, may not be able to start the QMF for
  TSO/CICS NLF features. Message 'DSQ90019 A LITERAL CONSTANT IN
  LTT IS TOO LONG. ' or other startup errors may occur. This
  problem will only occur for QMF for TSO/CICS national language
  features and will not occur for base English. This fix will add
  HOLD information with the NLF impact information to the PH67276
  fix. There are no other known errors for PH67276 other than
  missing ++HOLD information specific to QMF NLF users.

  The PTF UO04820 for QMF base English APAR PH67276 was missing
  SMP/e ++HOLD action to let QMF national language feature users
  know that the applicable PTF for PH67530 was required.
  

Problem conclusion

• This APAR adds ++HOLD information specific to QMF NLF users to
  let them know that if applying the PTF for this APAR PH70803
  (or PH67276) that they must also apply the applicable PTF for
  PH67530.

  functional change to the parts supplied with PH70803 to
  PH67276.
