IBM Trusted HSM Manager is IBM's mobile application for iOS and Android that allows IBM Z and LinuxONE HSMs to be managed from anywhere. 

Offered at no additional cost to IBM hardware clients, the app allows customers to securely manage their system HSMs remotely.

 
Customers can:
 
  • Manage CCA HSMs from the initial state to master keys loaded using existing their existing smart cards
  • Manage hosts, domains, and domain groups
  • Perform key ceremonies

How can I get help with the app?

Encountered an issue or have suggestions for app improvements?  In the app, tap the app's sidebar menu icon,  select the "Support" option, and then the "Contact Us" card.   You will be directed to our IBM support site where you can report an issue or provide other types of feedback.  

 

What are the minimum requirements to connect to an IBM Trusted Key Entry (TKE) using the app?

The TKE must be at least version 10.1 and have MCL P12345.199 applied.

IBM Trusted HSM Manager must be enabled on the TKE.

The Trusted HSM Manager tablet must have network access to one or more TKEs.

 

How do I enable IBM Trusted HSM Mannager?

IBM Trusted HSM Manager is enabled in the IBM Trusted HSM Manager Settings task on the TKE console.

 

Which devices are supported?

Due to the amount of data it displays and the required smart card reader connection, the IBM Trusted HSM Manager app is designed to work on tablets.
