Problem

In IBM Maximo Mobile for EAM 9.0.0, users encounter a 'Null Pointer Exception' and an 'Unknown Error' (BMXAA4214E) when attempting to issue rotating items with zero current balance in inventory via the Issues & Transfers application. The error occurs after selecting a reservation and saving the inventory usage record, resulting in a failed transaction.

Symptom

When using the Maximo Mobile app (EAM version 9.0 without any IFIX), the user encounters an 'Unknown Error' under Transactions on the 'Data update' when attempting to issue items with zero current balance in inventory. 

The issue is reproducible with following these steps: 

1. Open Issues & Transfers in Mobile. 
2. Click 'Issue' to open a new inventory usage record. 
3. Click '+' to add a new inventory usage line and click 'Reservations'. 
4. Choose a reservation for a rotating item with zero current balance. 
5. Fill out additional required fields and click 'Save'.
