Abstract

Upgrading Java 21.0.9, which is bundled in GKLM 5.1 directly to later versions (for example, 21.0.10) is not supported. This upgrade poses a critical risk and may result in irreversible impact, where all cryptographic objects stored in GKLM become invalid and unusable.

 


 

 

Description

Directly upgrading the bundled Java runtime from version 21.0.9 to later patch levels (for example, 21.0.10) in GKLM 5.1 is not supported. 

Recommended Action

To move to Java 21.0.10, you must apply the GKLM 5.1.0.1 Fix Pack, which includes the supported Java update.
