Tririga Platform upgrade fails from 5.0.0 to 5.0.4 with JDBC Connection Errors

Question & Answer

Question

Tririga Platform upgrade from 5.0.0 to 5.0.4 fails with JDBC Connection Errors.

Answer

The issue was caused by not fully shutting down all JVMs in the environment before attempting the upgrade to Tririga Platform 5.0.4. To resolve:
1. Ensure that all JVMs, including the Application Server and Process Server, are fully stopped.
2. Verify that the JVMs are shut down by checking the logs.
3. Once confirmed, re-run the platform upgrade to 5.0.4 on the Application Server.
4. The upgrade was successful, and the application started without JDBC connection errors.
