Getting Started with IBM Video Streaming

Getting started with IBM Video Streaming is easy. To begin broadcasting, you first need to create an account and subscribe to a plan.

Create an Account

  1.    Click the SIGN UP button in the upper‑right corner of the IBM Video Streaming website.
  2. You will be taken to the pricing page. Scroll down and click Purchase now to select one of the available video streaming plans.
  3. If you are interested in a free trial, please reach out using the provided contact link. The free trial lasts for 30 days. After the trial period ends, you will need to subscribe to a paid plan to continue using your account.

Sign Up with an IBM ID

After selecting your plan, you will be directed to the signup page and prompted to log in using an IBM ID.

  •    If you already have an IBM ID, sign in using your existing credentials.
  • If you do not have an IBM ID, click the link to create one and follow the instructions.

Please note that by signing up for IBM Video Streaming, you agree to IBM’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Verify Your Email

After logging in with your IBM ID, you will complete your account details. You will then receive an email containing a verification link or code.

  1.    Open the verification email.
  2. Copy the verification code and enter it into the verification token field.
  3. Submit the code to complete the subscription process.

Once verification is complete, you will receive a confirmation email stating that your registration has been successfully completed and your IBM ID has been activated.

Access Your Account

Next, click MY IBM and sign in using your registered IBM ID (your email address).

After signing in, you will see your My IBM dashboard, with your subscription listed under Products.

  •    Click Launch to open IBM Video Streaming and access your Dashboard Overview, where you can create channels, broadcast live, and manage recorded videos.
  • Click Manage to return to the My IBM dashboard and manage billing and account information.
