• In IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz) version 17.0.4, the
  MVSLockOwnershipTracker reports a ZFile delete operation failure
  in the rseserver log with the following exception:
  
  ERROR: MVSLockOwnershipTracker : ZFile delete operation failed
  for 'MY.JCL(TEST)' lock record (1 of 5 times) in
  '//'MY.IDZ170.LOCK.VSAM'': 'com.ibm.jzos.ZFileException:

Problem conclusion

• 1. RSE lock information tracker cache needs to be updated
  properly when locks are released so that they are not.
  2. A typo in checking condition causing the error in the
  second error message; it does not affect the encryption
  functionality of the product. A fix is delivered. Note: the
  first error message is expected for a property, here
  enable_attls_policy, when it is not set
  3. RSEAPI user now can list dataset
  name using a filter with the new
  volser option
