Abstract

This document provides information about installing the IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities 9.2.0-pre.stable_16853  Feature Channel Release.

IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities Feature Channel release details
     Release date:  26 - March - 2026
     IBM Maximo Application suite catalog changes: IBM Maximo Operator Catalog v9 (260326) - amd640
 
Important changes added to the Feature Channel:
 
  • Platform enhancements - user Migration tool.
  • Reserve App enhancements.
  • Dynamic Space planning enhancements.
  • Native S3 object storage support for File based integrations.
  • IBM Semeru JDK 21 support.
  • Amazon RDS DB2 support.
  • Includes security updates for base images and components.

Known issue

  • When performing a "Clean installation" of Feature Channel(FC), the "Global menu" appears twice in the collection list while configuring the home page and menu for user profiles. This duplication causes certain FVT(Functional Verification Test) scripts to fail.
    • Work around:  Upgrade Path (Recommended) - Install version 9.1.x first -> then perform upgrade to FC. (Fix expected in the upcoming patch release)
Steps for installing 9.2.x-pre.stable_16853
   The installation of IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities 9.2.x-pre.stable_16853 Feature Channel is done via channel subscription. See the Installing Maximo Application Suite page for directions.

Note:
   Be aware, this channel subscription is supported for non-production use only. It allows early access to new features for evaluation in non-production environments. This subscription is offered alongside and in parallel with our normal maintained streams. When using this subscription, IBM Support will only accept cases for the latest available bundle deployed in a non-production environment. Severity must be either 3 or 4 and cases cannot be escalated. Please refer to IBM documentation for more details.
