Troubleshooting
Problem
DataPower supports numerous FTP servers and clients, but not FTP z/OS server when it is configured with STARTDIRECTORY MVS and using DataPower to protocol bridge between SFTP and FTP(s).
Symptom
Directory listing process seems to succeed (viewed at debug log level) but then the following errors appear:
[sftp][error] source-ssh-server...SFTP Server: Invalid listing format [Volume Unit Referred Ext Use]
[mpgw][debug] mpgw...Connect error on front port (sftp://[::]:<port#>/;type=d) while transferring response
