Notes:
Fix Central is the IBM recommended site for retrieving fixes for most products. Fix Central enables customers to search, select, and download appropriate fixes for their situation. IBM Copy Services Manager 6.3.x fixes are available only from Fix Central. What is Fix Central (FC)?
This release contains all fixes in previous releases up to the CSM 6.3.16 release.
Notable Issues fixed in the 6.3.17.0 release are the following:
| Abstract | Description |
| Defect 90019 | Affected Domain: Customers using a Scheduled Task with the Run on Threat Detection option set. Description: A Scheduled Task can have both the Run on Threat Detection option set, as well as a scheduled run time. Because of this option, the Enabled column was set to only show yes if a schedule was set. This caused confusion for customers using Run on Threat Detection as it appeared they had to enable it. Starting with 6.3.17, if a scheduled task has Run on Threat Detection set, it will display as "On Event Only" unless the task also has a schedule which has been enabled. This should help clarify that the task will always run on an event. |
| Issue 90041 | Affected Domain: Customers installing CSM on Windows 2025 servers Description: There is a known issue with the Java which is shipped with CSM 6.3.16, which may cause Java to crash on Windows 2025 platforms. CSM 6.3.17 has updated to a Java version containing the fix to that issue. |
| Defect 90086 | Affected Domain: Customers managing Policy Based Replication (PBR) sessions for FlashSystem on CSM with Volume Group names containing spaces. Description: An issue was found managing PBR sessions in CSM where the Volume Group name contains spaces. The 6.3.17 release now correctly handles Volume Group names with spaces. |

Upgrades
This refresh pack is a full version of IBM Copy Services Manager. The refresh pack media does not include the enablement files. If installing without the enablement files, the install will be done with an Evaluation license agreement and the enablement files will need to be applied later for full functionality of the product.

CLI ONLY Installations
The following images are available to install a Remote version of the IBM Copy Services Manager CLI. Download the package pertaining the platform you wish to install the CLI on, NOT the platform that the IBM Copy Services Manager is running on.
NOTE: The installer now allows you to install only the CLI for Distributed platforms. The archive images for the CLI will no longer be available for Distributed servers. Launch the CSM installer and choose the CLI only option to install the CLI.
