IT49159: STORAGE INSIGHTS CARBON UI DISPLAYS INCONSISTENT ALERT VISIBILITY ACROSS DIFFERENT USER ROLES.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• No alerts appear in the Storage Insights new modern UI when
  viewed by a user with Administrator role.  The alerts widget on
  the Overview panel shows 0 (zero) alerts, although it may
  briefly flash a number before that.  The alerts dashboard does
  not show any Storage Insights alerts either.  Device Alerts are
  shown.  Although the count of Storage Insights alerts might be
  seen in the storage systems table view, clicking through to the
  alerts does not allow you to take action on them.
  
  Expected behaviour:  A user with the Administrator role should
  be able to view Alerts in the Storage Insights new modern UI.
  

Local fix

• As a workaround, user can switch to the classic UI and and view
  alerts to take action on them.
