Question & Answer

Question

The purpose for this tutorial is to illustrate all the steps that are needed to handle the "Non Install" image in Linux x86-64, which …
-- Does not require user "root" to install (the rpm command is not used)
-- The code can be unzipped in a directory other than /opt/mqm (and files are NOT owned by "root" nor "mqm")
-- The data and recovery logs for the queue manager reside outside /var/mqm (and files are not owned by "mqm")
