Question & Answer
Question
Why can't I set the Physical Percent Complete field to 0 or null in the Graphical Scheduling application?
Answer
This behaviour is the result of a fix implemented for the known issue DT439088. As part of this fix, the Graphical Scheduling application no longer allows users to set the Physical Percent Complete value to 0 or null directly from the scheduling interface.
If you need to reset this field to 0 or null:
- Open the associated Work Order in the Work Order Tracking application.
- Update the Physical Percent Complete field directly on the Work Order (set it to 0 or leave it null).
- Return to the Graphical Scheduling application.
- Perform a Discard and Refresh to reload the latest data in the scheduler view from the Work Order.
This will correctly update the value within the Graphical Scheduling application.
Workaround
If users prefer to make the update directly from the Graphical Scheduler application, a workaround can be configured using the Application Designer:
- Open Application Designer and load the Graphical Scheduling application.
- Add the Physical Percent Complete attribute to the Modify Work Details dialogue.
- Save and apply the changes.
Once added, users can:
- Right‑click a task or work order within Graphical Scheduling
- Select Modify Work Details, and
- Set Physical Percent Complete to 0 or null
The Modify Work Details dialogue writes directly to the Work Order tables, so these values can be cleared or reset without restriction. A subsequent refresh in the scheduler will display the updated value.
