The Remote Code Load (RCL) booking experience is getting a major upgrade. The RCL booking tool is moving to IBM Call Home Cloud Connect, bringing clients and IBMers a faster, smarter, and more intuitive way to schedule code updates. Instead of manually entering serial numbers, machine details, and contact information, users can now simply select an asset directly from their existing inventory. With a single click next to the desired system, they can launch an RCL request—choosing only the target code level, preferred date and time, and any additional email recipients. This streamlined process reduces manual effort, eliminates errors, and empowers clients to schedule updates in seconds.

Prepare for the transition

  1. Login with your IBM ID in the IBM Call Home Connect Cloud - https://www.ibm.com/support/call-home-connect/cloud/
  2. If you haven't used the tool, follow the guide to register your organization's assets and users, that will be presented to you.
  3. If you are an existing user, go to "My Organization" to create a new one or update the existing one with assets and/or users.
  4. For more details on how to use IBM Call Home Connect Cloud, visit the Site Assistance page - https://www.ibm.com/support/call-home-connect/cloud/siteassistance

Once your assets are added to your profile, you can go to the home page in step 1 and see your assets. Next to each of them, you will find a "Schedule RCL" button. Note! The button will be available after the "Live in CHCC" date for each product.

Follow the guide to submit your RCL request. Most of the information will be already pre-filled, but if you need to make any changes, the tool will remember those for the next RCL request.
