JAS console.log contains error "AADSTS54005: OAuth2 Authorization code was already redeemed"

Troubleshooting


Problem

The console.log file of the IBM Jazz Authorization Server (JAS) application contains instances of the error "AADSTS54005: OAuth2 Authorization code was already redeemed".

Cause

Scenario 1:

A user gets logged out due to inactivity, and then tries to access the system. The expired token is rejected, the error is logged and the user is shown a login prompt.

Scenario 2:

Logging in and immediately navigating back in the browser.

Resolving The Problem

The behaviour is as designed in these two scenarios mentioned. No action is required.
