Troubleshooting
Problem
When using Redshift Connector, Amazon S3 Connector, or Snowflake Connector, the connection fails with certificate validation errors indicating that the Amazon Root Certificate is missing from the JDK certificate store.
Symptom
For Redshift Connector:
The connector fails with the following error message:
CDICO2056E: Connection failed: shadow.wdp.connect.library.file.amazons3.software.amazon.awssdk.core.exception.SdkClientException: Unable to execute HTTP request: com.ibm.jsse2.util.j: PKIX path building failed: com.ibm.security.cert.IBMCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target (SDK Attempt Count: 4) com.ibm.connect.api.SCAPIException:
For Amazon S3 Connector:
The connector fails with the following error message:
Exception occurred: software.amazon.awssdk.core.exception.SdkClientException: Unable to execute HTTP request: com.ibm.jsse2.util.j: PKIX path building failed: com.ibm.security.cert.IBMCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
For Snowflake Connector:
The connector fails with the following error message:
Snowflake_Connector_5,0: Fatal Error: The PUT command failed to load data into the staging area with error - Error during file transfer: listObjects.
