Certified Base Images (V2)

TechZone's Certified Base Images (TZCBI) are pre-installed, stable, and secure virtual machine images or multi-VM complex environments provided by IBM Technology Zone. They include software and resources from IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments. These images are ready-to-go and have been secured to a highest standard, ensuring the best starting point for a content contributor. Premium offerings may require approval from the TechZone team.

Flags

Beta

Environments containing the Beta flags are newly created and still needing feedback. Please be mindful when navigating those and always test fully before using them as a starting point for your own environment. Feedback for these environments is accepted through our ideas portal or directly in the #itz-beta-feedback channel. If you would like to contribute a Beta environment please navigate this request through the Content Contribution Form.

Pre-warmed

Pre-warmed environments are environments that are available instantly. They are stored and provisioned in advances in TechZone Warming Pools ensuring faster delivery to the end users. For these you can notice the Pre-warmed flag. Sometimes, if the pool is empty your reservation might take the standard time to provision, this normally happens when there is a higher demand. If you would like such feature enabled for your own environments, please highlight that in your environment request to receive assistance from the TechZone Content Engineering Team.

Private Content Control

We offer custom control for content owners over their collections, journeys, assets, and environment. This will allow you to visually curate the experience for different types of users within your collections in a way you have never been able to before. For full usage coverage please review here.
