Intermittent 'Finished with Error' & 'max no of 100 conversations exceeded' when importing SAP data from FrameWork Manager

Problem

Customer is using the Controller function 'Import from Framework Manager' to import data from a SAP system. Most of the time this works OK. However, sometimes the user opens the batch queue and sees 'Finished with Error'.

To troubleshoot the problem, user launches Cognos BI and tries to manually run the relevant FM report (outside of Controller). An error appears.

Symptom

Batch queue:
