To restore user access to the IBM Maximo Renewables platform by resolving authentication issues and validating successful login for the affected user.

User Roles: Site Engineer, Asset Manager, Operations Manager, Stakeholder.
Steps
- The user was unable to log in despite entering the correct password.
- IBM Support reviewed the account status and confirmed that the user ID existed in the system.
- Password reset was performed from the backend.
- Temporary password was shared with the customer along with detailed reset instructions.
- Customer was advised to:
- Log in using the temporary password
- Reset the password immediately after login
Avoid three consecutive incorrect login attempts to prevent account lockout
Password Reset Instructions (User Steps)
- Log in using the temporary password.
- Click the User icon (bottom‑left corner).
- Select the Key icon.
- Enter:
- Current password (temporary password)
- New password
- Click Change Password.
- Log out and log back in using the new password to confirm access.
