IMS database sensor data collection: What sensor data can I collect with each IMS Tools product?

Question

I use multiple IMS Tools products and want to collect sensor data. Because several IMS Tools products support sensor data collection, I need to identify what sensor data I can collect with each product. I also want to know which runtime options in the control statements enable the collection of specific sensor data.

Answer

The attached files summarize the data elements that the FF Database Sensor or FP Database Sensor collects as sensor data when used with IMS Tools products. It also identifies the IMS Tools products that collect specific data elements and includes examples of the runtime options required to collect those data elements. Each file contains the following three sheets:

  • Category and runtime options
    This sheet groups the data elements that the FF Database Sensor or FP Database Sensor collects into four categories. It identifies the categories of data elements that each IMS Tools product can collect and lists the runtime options that each product uses to collect those data elements.
  • Data element list by category
    This sheet lists the data elements that the FF Database Sensor or FP Database Sensor collects for each category.
  • Data element description
    This sheet provides descriptions of all data elements that the FF Database Sensor or FP Database Sensor collects.
