PH69486: CDPLEX SERVER STOPS RESPONDING AFTER SHUTTING DOWN THE MANAGER. A SERVER MAY ABEND WITH A U3099 WHEN SHUT 25/12/22 PTF PECHANGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A timing issue can cause a Servers Stats TCA to hang when the
  Manager is shutdown.  The Manager will now inform the Servers
  that it is shutting down in an attempt to resolve the timing
  issue.  The Servers will now ignore the invalid GFCB causing the
  U3099.  This also fixes a problem where a Standby Server can
  attempt to take-over while the main Server is still active.
