PH69317: DFHSTUP STCKTCPIPSTAT HAVE DATE FORMAT OF DD/MM/YYYY (SHOULD BE MM/DD/YYYY)

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• DFHSTUP for CICS TS 6.3 changed the format of the date field
  from USA format MM/DD/YYYY to the UK format of DD/MM/YYYY.
  
  This was seen for fields:
  - Dispatcher Start Date and Time
  - Time last transaction attached
  
  Both 750 & 740 show MM/DD/YYYY:
  Dispatcher Start Date and Time. . . : 01/12/2026 16:59:31.6166
  
  But at 6.3 DFHSTUP now uses  DD/MM/YYYY:
  Dispatcher Start Date and Time. . . : 12/01/2026 16:59:40.4292
  
  For TRANSACTION MANAGER STATISTICS, the same change was seen:
  760 - Time last transaction attached : 20/01/2026 22:59:58.9641
  750 - Time last transaction attached : 01/21/2026 00:59:59.9930
  740 - Time last transaction attached : 01/20/2026 22:59:59.9627
  
  The StckTcpipStat values also have their date format as
  MM/DD/YYYY, they should be DD/MM/YYYY.
  
  Some response times are not being shown with the correct number
  of decimal places.

  At CICS TS 6.3, the format of the date field has changed from a
  MM/DD/YYYY format to a DD/MM/YYYY format when using the DFHSTUP
  CICS Statistics Utility Program. Also, response times are not
  being displayed correctly.
  

Problem conclusion

• DFHKECV has been changed to correct the date format and the
  precision of response times.
