Abstract

This document details the Known Issues & Limitations for IBM Storage Protect™ Snapshot 8.2.0.

The IBM Storage Protect Snapshot product is composed of multiple components, which support various operating systems, databases, and applications. Due to the large number of components included in this product, the Known Issues & Limitations for this product have been separated into multiple documents in order to enable you to focus on only the issues that apply to your application environment. Each IBM Storage Protect Snapshot component supports a specific application or operating environment as described in the table.

This document will provide a list of the components included in the IBM Storage Protect Snapshot product, a description of the environment supported by each component, and a link to the Known Issues & Limitations documentation for each component.

  • File System and Custom Application Snapshot support feature which provides a generic backup agent that can be used to create snapshots of file systems, other applications or databases not explicitly supported by the FlashCopy Manager product on Windows.
