Abstract

Update Operational Decision Manager 9.5.0.0 to 9.5.0.1 through Fix Central.

Download Description

This fix pack is entitled. Only customers who have purchased Operational Decision Manager V9.5.0.0 can use this fix pack. 

This fix pack includes all the interim fixes and updates for Operational Decision Manager V9.5.0.0. If you have installed the interim fixes, you must uninstall them before installing the fix pack. For more information, see Uninstalling an interim fix.

Important: New decision engine 1.90 in IBM Operational Decision Manager 9.5.0.1
The new engine must be installed for the ODM tooling to work correctly.

Downloading
To get your Operational Decision Manager fix pack files:

  1. Go to Fix Central.
  2. Search for the fix packs for your components by entering the following information:
    • Product selector: IBM Operational Decision Manager
    • Installed version: 9.5.0
    • Platform: Select the operating system of your platform.
  3. Click Continue, and then select Browse for fixes on the Identify fixes webpage.
  4. Click Continue to get a list of available fixes.
  5. Select the fix pack (FP) files that apply to your components, and then click Continue.
  6. Click Download now to download the files.
  7. Extract the contents of the downloaded files to new folders. Name the folders as shown in the following table.
  8. Follow one of the following sets of instructions for installing the fix pack:
    - Installing the fix pack with IBM Installation Manager
    - Installing the fix pack with the Installation Manager command line

Uninstalling an interim fix

Each interim fix has a readme with release information: Fix List for IBM Operational Decision Manager. The readme includes instructions for uninstalling the interim fix and redeploying the restored applications.


Installing the fix pack with IBM Installation Manager

You must have IBM Installation Manager installed on your computer. To install it, see Installing Installation Manager.
To do this update:

  1. Launch IBM Installation Manager.
  2. Open File > Preferences > Repositories.
  3. For each component:
    a. Click Add Repository.
    b. Browse to the extracted folder <InstallDir>/updates.
    c. Select the repository.config file.  
  4. Make sure the repositories are selected in Repositories.
  5. Click Apply to save your changes, and click OK to close Repositories.
  6. Click Update to update your installation.
  7. Follow the instructions in Installation Manager to complete the installation.

 

Installing the fix pack with the Installation Manager command line

  1. Locate the imcl command under <IM installation>/eclipse/tools.
  2. Run the command imcl updateAll -repositories WDC/updates, DSR/updates -acceptLicense.
  • Use the option -installDirectory <install path of ODM 9.5.0> to update a specific installation.
  • If you update only one component, specify the repository accordingly.
