IBM Storage Protect is a client/server licensed product that provides storage management services in a multiplatform computer environment. You can use the backup-archive client to back up and archive files from workstations or file servers to the IBM Storage Protect server. You can then restore and retrieve backup versions and archive copies of files to local workstations.
For product documentation, see IBM Storage Protect backup-archive clients.
For a list of the client APARs that are resolved in this fix pack, see Update History: IBM Storage Protect backup-archive client 8.2.
The documentation and messages reference the term IBM Knowledge Center. In April 2021, IBM Knowledge Center was renamed to IBM Documentation (also known as IBM Docs). In the documentation and messages, the term IBM Knowledge Center is still used.
