IBM Storage Protect HSM for Windows Fix Pack 8.2.2 is available. Information about system requirements, installation, and other resources for the backup-archive client are provided.

Description

IBM Storage Protect HSM for Windows provides Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) for Windows New Technology Files System (NTFS) and Resilient File Systems (Re-FS). Individual files and files from parts of the file systems are migrated to remote storage on the IBM Storage Protect server.
For a list of the APARs that are resolved in this fix pack, see technote 7252185.
 

Compatibility with earlier versions

The IBM Storage Protect backup-archive client and API must be at the same or at a greater fix pack level as the IBM Storage Protect HSM for Windows client
 

Installing software updates

Software updates can be downloaded from the IBM Storage Protect Support Portal, at Support Portal - IBM Storage Protect HSM for Windows. Click the Download fix (fixes & PTFs) link and select the files to download.
