Basic configuration of IBM MQ 9.4.4 Native HA in 3 RHEL VMs

Question & Answer

Question

The purpose of this tutorial is to provide the steps for performing a basic configuration of the new feature introduced in MQ 9.4.4 for "Native High Availability" (Native HA) for non-container environments (Linux only)
After the configuration is done, the MQ sample "amqsphac" (High Availability Put sample) is used to show the automatic client reconnection capabilities when doing a manual graceful switchover from one instance to a replica.
Another scenario that is covered is when the host of the Active instance is "brutally" stopped, in order to explore what happens when a major outage is encountered.
