Problem
Note: This technote is only applicable for ZIP-based client installations.
When using the IBM Controller client ZIP installer, the Controller tab is missing in Microsoft Excel or an error message appears when attempting to open an embedded Excel link from the Controller Classic application. The following error message is displayed:Cannot run the macro 'cc.CompareDb'. The macro may not be available in this workbook or all macros may be disabled.
Symptom
- The Controller tab does not appear in the Excel ribbon when opening Excel directly.
- When trying to open an embedded Excel link from the Controller Classic application, the following error message is displayed:
