    ****************************************************************
APAR PH65875 in the April 2025 COBOL Runtime PTF introduced
a new feature in which the COBOL Runtime module IGZXLPKA makes
a call to DEVTYPE (SVC 24, 0x18) to request information
relating to a IGZOPTS DD. The new logic works as designed,
but the resulting performance overhead is not as efficient as
    it could have been.

Problem conclusion

  • The COBOL Runtime has been enhanced to reduce the performance
    overhead in IGZXLPKA.
