IBM SPSS Analytic Server 4.0.0 is available.

Description

IBM SPSS Analytic Server is a solution for big data analytics that combines IBM SPSS technology with big data systems.  Analytic Server provides users with familiar IBM SPSS user interfaces to solve problems on a previously unattainable scale.

The following features and enhancements are introduced in version 4.0.0.

Platform support

  • Support for Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) Private Cloud Base 7.3.1
  • Support for Apache Spark 3.5.4
  • Support for IBM Spectrum Scale 5.1.x
  • Support for R 4.4.0
  • Support for RHEL 9.6
  • Support for Ubuntu 20.04
  • Support for Ubuntu 22.04
  • Support for SLES 12 SP5
 

Installation

The installation logic is optimized, which reduces the number of installation steps.

 

The following vulnerabilities are fixed in this release:

  • Cross Site Scripting (Stored) leading to account takeover and cookie jar overflow DOS
  • Vulnerable Software In Use
  • Authentication Bypass by Response Manipulation and Missing Function Level Access Control
  • Sensitive Information Disclosure in JS File and HTML Session Storage
  • Bypass Business Logic
  • Username Enumeration and sensitive information passed in URL
