Abstract
IBM MaaS360 has updated the names of the following apps for Android, iOS and the IBM MaaS360 Portal.

IBM MaaS360 updates the platform and container app names to comply with IBM standards and to enhance the user experience.

Note: The changes are reflected in the workflows and texts in the IBM MaaS360 apps and Portal.
With these changes, the administrators must be mindful of the following scenarios.
Scenario 1:
As an impact of the aforesaid changes, the groups created through Advanced Search feature may break if the below attributes were used in the search condition to search the above applications or services.
- category : Software Application , Attribute : Application Name
- category : Installed Services , Attribute : Installed Service Name
Note: The search condition can be modified with 'OR' condition to include both the old and new app names.
Scenario 2:
Some of the values of the externally available APIs are updated on 27 October 2025.
