How to change the iOS device owner without re-enrollment?

Environment

Steps

Here are the steps:

  1. Customer would need to reach out to support to enable a backend property.
     
  2. Customer needs to modify the device ownership to be “Corporate Shared” (in the device Summary page).

  3. On the device, open the maas360 app, navigate to Settings, go to the bottom of the page, tap on “Logout”.

  4. Then wait for the device to report in to the portal and verify the username field becomes empty in the device Summary page.
     
  5. On the device, open the maas360 app, navigate to Settings, go to the bottom of the page, tap on “Login”. Then login with the new user details.

  6. Then wait for the device to report in to the portal again and verify the username is associated with the new user in the device Summary page.
