Error description

  • Object Compare incorrectly reports changes to an index using a
BUSINESS_TIME column when there are none. This results in an
unnecessary drop and recreate. Object Compare should not report
and generate changes if there are none.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Object Compare Tool generates erroneous *
*                      DROP/CREATE INDEX when index contains   *
*                      PERIOD BUSINESS_TIME column and source  *
*                      does not contain parent table.          *
****************************************************************
If source does not contain parent table and index contains
PERIOD BUSINESS_TIME column, erroneous DROP/CREATE INDEX
statements will be generated by Object Compare Tool.

Object Compare has been updated to warn the user if source does
not contain the parent table and index contains PERIOD
BUSINESS_TIME column. In this scenario, no change can be
detected for PERIOD BUSINESS_TIME columns.
