SYSIBMADM.QIBM_SYSIXADV_BY_DAYS global variable

News

Abstract

The QIBM_SYSIXADV_BY_DAYS global variable indicates the number of days to keep a row in the QSYS2.SYSIXADV table after the most recent update time.

The index advisor adds rows to the QSYS2.SYSIXADV table. To prevent accumulation of data in this table, Db2 for i will automatically delete (or prune) rows based on the value of the QIBM_SYSIXADV_BY_DAYS global variable. The age of a row is based on the value of the LAST_ADVISED column.
