APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• z/VM Performance Data Pump has been changed to better recover
  from connectivity problems and short outages without loss of
  performance data.
  
  When the TCP/IP connection to the time series database is lost,
  reconnect is retried at reasonable intervals. In some network
  configurations persistent TCP/IP connection may be broken
  frequently. For short outages data will be buffered and sent
  once the service is available again, also allowing for a service
  restart without data loss. During longer outages, the oldest
  data is discarded once a set threshold is reached. Additional
  diagnostic function has been added to help z/VM Development
  diagnose issues in client configurations.
  
  The MDXSETUP logic was improved to address various situations
  observed in client configurations.
  
  
  Minor metrics changes have been made, among others to classify
  virtual machines better by operating system type. The z/VM
  Overview sample dashboard will distinguish between users running
  CMS and z/CMS. A duplicate field in the systcup measurement to
  avoid problems when feeding the data into Splunk.
  
  PERFKIT has been changed to correct a programming error that in
  some situations caused the following message:
  FCXBAS199A Divide exception at FCXPRC+35FC
