OA68519: ABEND0C4 PIC11 IN IFG0196L+X'189C' DURING OPEN WHEN DCBE IS VERSION 0

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• abend0c4 pic11 in IFG0196L+x'189C.  Reg12 is the pointer to a
  DCBE with DCBELEN of x'38' which is a version 0 DCBE.  IFG0196L
  is attempting to reference DCBE+x'39' DCBE_BYPASS_CMP_FB which
  is only valid for a version 1 DCBE.
  This only occurs with DFSMS 3.2.
  
  Additional symptoms: Data sets are being allocated with block
  size =0.  Subsequent open of the data set fails with MSGIEC141I
  abend013 rc34.
