QRadar EDR On Prem: Quarantine tab not available for Single-Client-Admin in Administration menu

Troubleshooting


Problem

The Quarantine tab is not visible under the Administration menu for users with the Single-Client-Admin role (not having the privilege to create clients).

Symptom

Client Administrators cannot see the Quarantine tab in the Administration menu on the Hive dashboard.

QRadar EDR On-premise

Diagnosing The Problem

When performing the following steps, an issue occurs where the Quarantine tab in the Administration menu does not appear.

  1. Create a new client (e.g., Client A).
  2. Enable the anti-malware feature for Client A.
  3. Create a new user with the Single-Client-Admin role.
  4. Assign the user to Client A.
  5. Log in to the Hive console as the Single-Client-Admin user.
  6. Navigate to the Administration menu.
  7. The Quarantine tab is not displayed.

Resolving The Problem

This issue is scheduled to be fixed in a future release.
In the meantime, if some administrators encounter this issue, as a workaround, please directly access the following URL:
https://<Instance name>/settings/quarantine
