Troubleshooting
Problem
The error "You may not change the password on this account" occurs when IBM ERM DOORS admin attempts to change the password for the user's account.
Symptom
The user's password cannot be changed in IBM ERM DOORS.
Cause
The error is caused by the option for "User may change password" is not selected.
Resolving The Problem
1- Log into DOORS as Database Manager or Administrator
2- Navigate to Tools > Manage Users
3- Select the user's ID having issue changing the password and click Edit
4- Change tab to "Security"
5- Check the box for "User may change password"
