IBM API Connect CORS Policy Issue with Wildcard (*) for Allow-Origin

Troubleshooting


Problem

When users set the Allow-Origin value in their API's CORS policy to the wildcard character (*), the Gateway processing logs will generate errors.

Symptom

In the Gateway processing logs users will see messages like:
