Troubleshooting
Problem
System user is not able to create any new resources for Application ISF_PRODUCT_NAME(ISFSYS00001) from the Application Manager.
Symptom
To create a new resource by logging in the Application Manager as a system user. Go to Platform->Presentation->Resoures->Resource Hierarchy .
Click on Application ISF_PRODUCT_NAME(ISFSYS00001) in the left side of Resource Hierarchy window. The + sign on the top left menu bar is disabled. The user can't create a new resource.
Cause
resourceadditon is set to false which is the default value.
Diagnosing The Problem
There are a few factors we can check.
1. Does the user has the right permission to add resource.
This is the System user, it should have the permission by default.
2. Any other properties or flags to control this?
Enable the trace in the Application Manager, click on the application. Noticed logging message like
'resourceadditon is false'.
Resolving The Problem
We set the
yfs.enable.resource.addition property=true in the <INSTALL_DIR>/properties/customer_overrides.properties file.Document Location
