Abstract

This docunemt explains how to download version 9.1 of InfoSphere Data Architect.

Download Description

IBM InfoSphere Data Architect is a collaborative data-modeling and information-integration tool for discovering, modeling, relating, and standardizing diverse data assets. It helps you create new data models from scratch or by unifying disparate data sources in your organization. You can share models across a team, print them, publish them on the web, and translate them to physical implementations, which you can test and deploy.

Downloading and assembling the product
  1. Download the parts that you need. The parts for each platform are described in the tabbed section of this document.
  2. Unpack each of the parts into temporary directories on your system.
  3. Follow the instructions in the Installation Guide to install the product.


Updating from Version 8.5:
You can update the product from Version 8.5 by following these steps:
  1. Download the parts that you need. The parts for each platform are described in the tabbed section of this document.
  2. Unpack each of the parts into temporary directories on your system.
  3. Open IBM Installation Manager, then click File > Preferences. The Preferences window opens. Add the repository to the list of repositories, then click OK.
  4. Click the Update button and complete the pages of the Update wizard to update to InfoSphere Data Architect Version 9.1.
